Have been impressed with them so far. I wear hearing aids, for noise induced hearing loss, so want to protect what I have left. I also need to talk to the team on the factory floor. I have experimented with these ear muffs switched on and switched off to see what the difference is. It really is noticeable. Really handy to have the voice pass through.
Downsides - They require a 30mm slot in a hard hat. That isn't a normal size and online retailers don't specifiy those sizes. The clamping force of the muffs has started to give me a headache a couple of times, but it is a trade-off with good noise suppresion.
