Frequently Asked Questions

Sturdy & reliable anchorage connectors are a critical part of a height safety fall protection system. An anchorage connector is designed to ensure secure attachment for a worker’s PPE (such as lanyards and lifelines) to a stable fixed point.

There are a wide range of anchorage connectors available, with different features depending on the work application required.  Important factors to consider when choosing the right anchorage connector include mobility (fixed or mobile type); permanent or portable installation; load rating to deliver the required support; and the type of structure and work application being undertaken.

Some types are reusable such as concrete anchors and roof anchors where it is indicated the connectors can be reused. Anchors specified as a permanent type are not reusable.

Our range of anchorage connectors are fully compliant with relevant height safety product standards including AS/NZS fall protection standards.

It is important that each component of a fall protection system is compatible and designed for integration with the system. System compatibility is vital to ensure that components do not have the risk of disconnecting or failing when used together in the fall protection system. Manufacturer guidance for product compatibility should be obtained to ensure security and compliance.
